Surveying Amidst Art
On September 24th Florida Building & Land Surveying Corp. recently had the privilege of conducting a boundary and construction survey at one of Miami’s most iconic destinations — the Wynwood Walls street art exhibit in Midtown Miami. Known worldwide for its vibrant murals and creative energy, Wynwood Walls was originally founded by visionary American real estate developer Tony Goldman, who was celebrated for revitalizing historic neighborhoods across the United States. His work transformed Wynwood into a cultural hub, attracting artists, visitors, and businesses from around the globe.

Our role at Florida Building & Land Surveying Corp. was to provide a comprehensive boundary survey and construction survey, which together form the foundation for creating an accurate site plan. This site plan will be instrumental for engineers, architects, and planners as they continue the process of revitalization and redevelopment in and around this landmark property. Surveys like these ensure that every detail, from property boundaries to construction layout, is precise—laying the groundwork for sustainable and well-executed improvements.
Conducting this project at Wynwood Walls was more than just another survey; it was an inspiring experience. Surrounded by world-class street art and bold, imaginative designs, our team had the unique opportunity to blend the technical precision of surveying with the cultural richness of one of Miami’s most beloved attractions. Working in such an environment reminded us how important it is for surveying and mapping to support projects that not only build structures but also strengthen communities and preserve the creative spirit of a neighborhood.

At Florida Building & Land Surveying Corp., we take pride in contributing to projects that foster growth, cultural appreciation, and economic development. The Wynwood Walls survey represents more than just data collection—it is a step forward in the continued story of revitalization and community building in Miami.
As Tony Goldman once demonstrated through his work, careful planning and visionary development can breathe new life into a neighborhood. We are proud to be part of that ongoing legacy by providing the technical expertise that ensures each stage of the process is built on solid ground.
